RealNetworks' "RealPlayer" is the update to their RealAudio player. This new version plays both audio and video files. You can download a free RealPlayer from RealNetworks home page. A link is provided below.
Once you have downloaded and installed the RealPlayer, depending on which browser you use and how it is configured, when attempting to play a movie or audio file, a dialog box may appear giving you several options on how to proceed. Choose the "Pick App" option and direct your browser to the location of the RealPlayer. The browser will then launch the RealPlayer along with the requested video or audio file. You can use the RealPlayer control panel to start, pause, stop or replay the video or audio file as desired.
